The Big Day

My oldest is getting bapstized into the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (this takes place at the age of 8for those of who don't know). It started out pretty busy getting everything ready. I got to give a talk, and there was food to prepare for something to munch on after and getting everyone ready took a little bit of time before 11:30. In the end it all worked out and we were even on time. I didn't get any pictures inside so I decide to get some with the temple in the background since the stake center was right by it. We were rushing to get to the house so that we didn't have people waiting. So, the idea was to snap a few pictures get some with Dad and a few without. I snapped the one's with Dad and he was on his way. Well, kind of, I needed some more room with my lense cause I had my 50mm on and I wanted more of the temple in the background. Not thinking I stepped out behind the van and crouched done and as my husband was leaving in the van (we had 2 vehicles here and I was in the truck so he left in what he came in) he backed up into me and threw me to the ground. I was shocked as to what had happened to me (I couldn't see cause my camera was up to my face) and realized the van was still moving I curled up to get out of the way of the tires and he had stopped. On Greg's end he had heard a THUMP....... BUMP.......BUMP.........and saw a priceless expression on G's face and new right then he had hit me. He got out to make sure I was okay (I was still in a little bit of shock) also looking at my camera to see if that got bumped or hit the ground "I told him I was okay" and he was off. Gabe came running over to me to see if I was okay and gave me a hug. We started our drive over to the BBQ and he was thinking of all the ways Dad could have avoided it but I also told him that I shouldn't have been there in the first place interesting how it became an object lesson. It will be interesting to say how the day will be remebered. The story isn't told that well written but I think you get the idea. Everytime now we leave my husband always looks for any photographers behind him..... REAL FUNNY.........HA HA HA...

I just loved Angie's birthday card so I had to use it for my little E' for her birthday announcement.

I seriously can't believe it's here. When I was talking to Angie today she helped to realize that it was actually next week. So..... scrabling to get a party together.

What I love about my little E' is that she is so innocent and very much a child. You know how there are some children that want to be grwon up (like my little B'). Well.... that's not for my little E' everything about her is very childike and pure. It's fun....... I get to still enjoy my little girl.

Mom......."I'm having a HAPPY DAY!" that's what she said to me the other day

I love this shot. So sweet....... We had a difficult time actually getting H to stay and once he realized how much fun it was he didn't want to stop. I will post more later of this session.

A quick photo session today and so fun. I have had so many baby boys its about time a girl came along. She was a premie and about a month old she still was so tiny barely weighing 7 lbs.

It's great to be 8 . I just can't believe that it has happened. The advice I get is to enjoy them while they are young. Well... I think I am but it still is going by so quickly. I remember when we started college and thinking the end is so far away. Well.... we made it to the end and added a few years. We only have 10 more years to until he is off to college. Crazy! Anyways enough about that lets move to talk about his greatness. G' loves growing up he is even doing a little business, renting a bounce house out, to make some money to buy a motorcycle. He has such a big heart he doesn't want anyone to sad or experience pain. He is always willing to help me and teach me how I could do it better or efficeint. He is such an amazing boy and is so determined.

I tried to post before I went out of town and blogger wasn't working for me. So....... here are some of recents I have done lately and love them. It was so hard to choose just a few I think I will have to post some more. I have been having so much fun lately with my clients and the new locations to shoot at. Love it:)

I have been out of photographing lately because of some classes that I have been taking lately and I had the pleasure of being able to take these newborns in between my little break.

Okay, so I have totally neglected my blog and even taking photos (I didn't think that was possible....HEHE!!)So I am going to post some not so recent pictures of G. We took these about a month ago before we moved and the photoshoot took about 20 minutes (isn't that cool.....well at least for him....... I wanted to go more).

I will be pretty full with photoshoots the end of May and beginning of June but my time opens up a little more in July and August. Call for an appointment before I get all booked.
