I have a confession

I am addicted to blogging (I'm finally admitting it whew...that wasn't too hard). I would say it's a daily thing I have to do to feel complete. Why am I telling you all this...because I have not been able to look at blogs this week (like I do daily) and there was even a couple days I didn't even turn on the computer. I am having withdrawals. So, had to make some time to look and post.

By the way everyone thank you for all of your kind comments and love that comes my way.

I found another abandoned house and had to give it a try on my kids.

Something Personal

I'll introduce you to the remodel. My little Isaac loves to help out and he is into everything. Now that we are getting closer to the end he is having a hard time understanding "No, no"
Just after we had the mud and tape done on the sheetrock he decided to do a little bit of finger painting with the mud. I'm thinkin' it was a little bit of heaven because every little corner had his mark.

I wanted to share with how my house looks. This is a shot looking into my kitchen from my sunken family room.

This is my living room and it's a dream for photographers plenty of window light. Soon this room will be empty of all of this extra stuff and have new flooring and paint. Then I can actually hang up some pictures and decorate.

Sneak Peak

...sooner than I told you. It's kind of a post overload of pictures but I liked so many of them. I think my absolute favorite is this first one. And Doug thank you for your patience I do have to say I am proud of myself that I got you to smile in a few of them.
Anyways, groomals (I guess that's what these are called) are my favorite. I only focus on the 2 most important people of the day.

Miracle

It has been a miracle for Jen & Braden and if I remember right it has been 8 years waiting a long time coming. You both are so sweet with him he his truely blessed with a wonderful set of parents. I am so happy for you and it's going to be a fun, amazing new journey for you. CONGRATS!

I always feel like I have to have a photo to post on my blog in order to make a post and I don't think that needs to be the case. But...I am still here I have just been a little busy with some changes I am making. A new website of which I hope it to be up at the end of this month. You'll see changes on my pricing so I could put it out there now if you want my current pricing then you should book with me in the next few weeks. On April 1st I will now longer charge my current pricing. So, if you want the price of $250 with negatives then book with me now even if your not ready to have your photos done until September or whenever you would like. I will honor it any time this year but at the time of booking be prepared to pay for the session fee.

It's March and...

I love...love...love my new lense. Look at that DOF (for those of you who are photogs that look) isn't it beautiful. I am so giddy I can't contain myself.

Bridals

Well...I got permission to post before the wedding. I don't do bridals very much but I will jump to the chance when asked. I was really excited when Angie was willing to go this abandoned house I found. Here...I went a little overboard on the textures but had a lot of fun with them. Tell me what you think.

Sledding

Just a few shots from awhile back that I am finally getting to. I took the kids sledding and they loved even little "I" he could not get enough of it. It's just fun to sit back and enjoy the laughter of children.

My crazy life as a photographer.

I have wanted to post for so long but haven't been able to figure this Mac stuff out oh...and not to mention I have a new editing software called Photoshop CS3 (it's a monster). I am computer illiterate Angie (simplicity photography) can attest to that I call her with the stupidest questions what am I thinking about being a digital photographer. The good news is I got a new lense today 70-200 mm 2.8 LSeries I can't wait to take it outside and give it a try. I'm going to leave with a cute little one.
